Screenwriter Michael Lee Richardson leads this Zoom workshop on how to tell LGBTQ+ stories on film and discusses his new short film Who I Am Now – directed by Jack Goessens – which tells the story of two trans refugees who have found their families and themselves through football. You’ll explore how to come up with new ideas, learn about some of the tools you’ll need to tell visual stories on screen, and even have an opportunity to come up with some stories of your own.
