LGBTIQ+ Bike Maintenance Workshop

Civic House, 26 Civic Street, Glasgow, G4 9RH

Bike for Good is organising an LGBTQI+ bike maintenance class. This class aims to provide a space where LGBTQI+ people are made to feel welcome in the workshop, and feel confident to learn and ask questions. We recognise that LGBTQI+ people are underrepresented in bike mechanics due to the cis-heteropatriarchy and we aim for these sessions to help empower LGBTQI+ people to learn about bikes and how to fix them, and to teach others. Open to all LGBTIQ+ people (under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult. 8 spaces available.
