Edinburgh to Peebles - 100km Cycle

Out Velo is the UK’s first national LGBTQ+ road cycling club and arranges regular events the length and breadth of the country.

For this ride, we’ll head south from Scotland’s capital towards Peebles, nestled in the Tweed valley before following the river downstream towards Innerleithen. Our return route will take us over the Moorfoot Hills into Midlothian, and we will finish the ride along the course of the former Innocent Railway. Our ride will cover approximately 100km (62 miles) with around 882m of climbing. Bring yourself, your bike, water, snacks, dress according to the weather and don’t forget a waterproof layer – it is Scotland after all! There will be opportunities to stop for lunch en route.

Out Velo is free to join, and we use Spond to list all our events. Spond is a free app available for both iPhone and Android and can also be accessed through a web browser.
