From Speirs Wharf to Bowling – A 12 mile Canal walk!
Join OUT on Sundays – Glasgow’s LGBTQI+ Social walking group – on this flat, gently paced 12 Mile walk from Glasgow to Bowling harbour. With two stops at Lock 27 and Clydebank for optional Fish and chips. A rest every four miles. Lovely canalside suprises of nature await you. Bring a flask and a packed lunch or enjoy refeshments at Lock 27, McMonagles at Clydebank and Patons Cafe at Bowling. The choice is yours! We will get a well earned train home after enjoying the views of the River Clyde at Bowling harbour.
No age or gender restrictions, but unfortunately this walk is not accessible to wheelchair users.
