Out to Durness

We invite you to join us for a trip to Durness, North West Sutherland, to try out the Golden Eagle Zipline, the most Northerly zipline in the UK.

You’ll be thrilled with speeds up to 45MPH and amazing ocean views from up to 100ft above one of the most beautiful beaches in Scotland.

After we’ve flown the zipline, we will head to the Balnakeil Craft Village in Durness for a drink in Cocoa Mountain.

If the weather prevents operation of the zipline, we will visit Smoo Cave instead, where there is a walkway into the waterfall chamber that is free of charge. Should you wish to venture further inside and learn about the natural and human history of the cave, then you can go on the paid tour.

After a drink in Cocoa Mountain, there is an opportunity to walk to Faraid Head from Balnakeil Bay car park. The walk is 4 miles, has an ascent of 110m, and will take approximately 2 hours.

Please be at the zipline by 11am.

Please note that operation of the zipline and tours of Smoo cave are both entirely weather-dependent.
