Practical self defence for Women

UPDATED: Wellbeing Hub in Bridgeton (14 Rogart Street, G40 2AA, enter from the Orr Street end)

Learn a variety of practical self defence tactics and skills – both verbal and physical – that you can use in your everyday life.

During the workshop, we’ll explain more about how “radical practical feminist self defence” differs from more mainstream approaches, often taught by straight/ cis men.

The session is suitable for all ages, bodies, abilities and rooted in the belief that everybody has the right to defend themselves. We can adapt what we do to suit your body.

Please note: this session is for those who identify as women – this includes trans women – and we ask that you respect this. If you do not identify as a woman, but are queer, please sign up for our other workshop (Friday 27th) instead! Over-16s only.
