Velo City Social Ride and Puncture Repair Session

Come and join us for a cycle along the canal and a puncture repair session!

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join our steady, social cycle along the canal on Wednesday the 18th of June at 1130am. We’ll cycle from Torvean Park, along the canal to Dochgarroch where we’ll sit outside and enjoy a wee picnic. There is a cafe, or you can bring along your own pack lunch, we’ll bring a few things for everyone!

Afterwards, we’ll cycle back to Torvean park where we’ll have a puncture repair session at 2pm. Everyone’s biggest fear is the sound of air rapidly escaping from their tyre, but we’ll explain why this isn’t the end of the world and how you can fix it!

What do you need to bring?
Comfortable clothes to cycle in, food and water.

We can provide bikes and helmets, just make sure you let us know on the sign-up form. The only requirements to join are that you’re 18+ and can ride a bike with good control. There is no requirement to ride at a certain speed. We will take regular stops to check in, to see how everyone is doing.
