Archery Come and Try

Have you ever wanted to try archery? Now’s your chance! Lasswade Archery Club is offering an exciting opportunity to come along to the range and try shooting a bow in a safe, fun, friendly and inclusive environment. Unleash your inner Robin Hood and take aim at something new! No experience needed.
There will be two sessions available on Sunday 21st June. Session 1 runs from 10am to 11am, while Session 2 runs from 11.15am to 12.15pm.
We will be shooting recurve bows at targets at a distance of 10m The venue is the Sports Hall at Lasswade High School – lots of free parking and access is all on the level.
All welcome, from ages 14+ (though anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult throughout the session).

Kit Required
For safety reasons you should tie back long hair and remove any facial/chest piercings, dangly earrings and jewellery around the neck/wrists/fingers. You should wear something comfortable with flat closed-toe shoes, and ideally a thin short- or long-sleeved top - baggy jumpers/hoodies with strings or bulky fleeces are best avoided. If you wear leggings/trousers with a loose waistband please bring a belt with you, as the quivers we use could pull them down - a firm/tight waistband is preferable.
