Intro to functional fitness

Whether you want to get stronger, boost your energy, or just try something new, come and join us for an introduction to functional fitness. You’ll have exclusive use of the gym space, and we’ll coach you through the fundamentals of lifting, mobility and conditioning in a way that’s accessible, adaptable, and genuinely fun. We know that learning new skills in the gym can be intimidating – you’ll leave the taster session with the fundamental skills and confidence to hop into your first class and join our supportive community. No experience needed! Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and a willingness to have fun.

Please note: the sign-up link gives you a free class credit, this alone does not reserve your place. After accepting the free credit, you must then go into the Schedule section and find the Festival Fortnight event in the calendar on 27th June. Once you’ve signed up to the Festival Fortnight class in the calendar, you’re confirmed. There are 16 places available initially, we may offer additional opportunities if there’s demand.

Kit Required

Comfortable and breathable clothes, ideally moisture-wicking fabric (you'll probably get a sweat on). Training shoes (a gym shoe, running shoe etc). Fitted clothing (or at least nothing extremely loose) - you don't want to be getting caught on the equipment. A water bottle.
