Proud Readers Walk & Talk

As part of Festival Fortnight 2026, the Inverness Library will be hosting Proud Readers Walk & Talk, a relaxing and welcoming community walk celebrating LGBTQ+ literature and authors. This social event invites participants to share and discuss queer authors and stories, favourite reads, and share recommendations.

The walk will meet and begin outside Eden Court Theatre and continue along the banks of the River Ness, through the Ness Islands, and finish back at the Inverness Library where participants can enjoy tea, coffee, and light snacks.
