Community Bike Rides

Join Boundless Trails CIC and LEAP Sports Scotland for a guided mountain bike adventure ride.

This relaxed and supportive group ride is part of Festival Fortnight 2026 and celebrates LGBTQ+ participation in outdoor sport and physical activity.

The ride will take participants through stunning Highland scenery, forest trails, river crossings and remote landscapes, offering the opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence and enjoy a day outdoors together.

This event is aimed at riders with previous mountain biking experience and a reasonable level of fitness. Participants must bring a mountain bike in good working order suitable for off-road riding.

The focus of the day is not competition or performance, but community, wellbeing and adventure.

Mountain biking is the means — connection, confidence and being outdoors together is what matters most. A relaxed end-of-week ride focused on enjoyment and community. The Friday session is a Boundless Trails group ride designed to:

- Finish the week outdoors
- Build confidence riding in a group
- Create a welcoming space for riders of mixed experience
