- 16:00 Outdoor Swim with Campout at Bonaly Country Park
Outdoor Swim with campout (optional) at Bonaly Country Park. Everyone will meet at the entrance / parking spaces at Bonaly Country Park at 16:00 we will then take a shot gentle hike up to the Bonaly reservoir where we will have an outdoor swim session followed by a picnic. Everyone joining us will then be able to head home or if they wish join us for a campout next to Bonaly reservoir and head home the following day. Open to all aged 18+.

Edinburgh Racqueteers will host the National LGBTQI+ Open Badminton Tournament on Sunday 25th June at Westwoods Health Club, Edinburgh, as part of LEAP Sports Scotland’s Festival Fortnight. This informal doubles badminton tournament is for all abilities and skill levels but you will need to bring or hire a racquet (£1 from the health club’s reception) and also you must be over 18 years old to enter.

Hoop Dreams follows the lives of two African-American teenagers from Chicago who struggle to become college basketball players on the road to going professional. Join the Perth Parrots at the South Inch Carpark for a complimentary hot drink and breakfast roll before heading up Kinnoull Hill which has stunning views of the River Tay out towards Dundee. Parking is free on a Sunday and public toilets are available (small entry fee). No age or gender restrictions but the climb is steep in parts so not suitable for young children.

Starting outside Kelvingrove Art Gallery, we will walk from the West to the South, East and North visiting green spaces along the way. In conjunction with LEAP Sports Festival Fortnight, Glasgow Raptors RFC is proud to present our FREE ‘Intro to Rugby Bootcamp’. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend this event – absolutely zero experience is required, and we encourage beginners to join in! With help from our friendly coaching team, you will have the opportunity to learn the core skills of rugby union in a safe and encouraging environment. Those newly learned skills will then be put to the test with an exciting game of touch rugby. The event will wrap up with a social Pride Picnic, in celebration of LGBT Youth Scotland’s Pride campaign ‘Reconnect – Celebrate – Donate’. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss all things rugby and inclusive sports with our wider membership over some food and beverages (these will be provided by the club and will be conscious of dietary needs). As the city’s only inclusive rugby team, we strive to provide a platform which champions LGBT+ excellence in sports and use our voices to fight for equality. This walk is a nice one as the walk along the canal is flat. This should make it fairly accessible for most people to be able to join in. The distance is around 11 miles however we will toilet and pit stop at Lock 21 and McGonnigal’s Chip Shop Boat if people wish. having such a stretch, it gives the participants a chance to talk and to hopefully make friends, combat lowliness and isolation and a chance for those who are not quite ready to return to hardcore fitness, a bit of a challenge to up their fitness game. Transport from Bowling will be up to the individual to arrange themselves. But the Marina there is lovely and there are a couple of cycle trails and a bike hire place if people wish to explore the area afterwards.

Join us for a Woodland Wellbeing Adventure in Pollock Park! We will be exploring the parks stunning flowers, trees and plants through a mindful nature treasure hunt. We will then be learning the skill of fire lighting so we can enjoy a cup of tea and toast some marshmallows! We will then experience some relaxing wellbeing practices and mindful movement around a warm fire together. You will also receive a Wellbeing Box which will include lots of nature inspired wellbeing goodies to help you to continue to explore your local green space. *Please note if restrictions change then we will offer an online Zoom workshop and post the nature wellbeing boxes out out to participants.

In the spirit of Rainbow Glasgaroos, the event is offered to increase LGBTQI+‘s participation in sport. It is for LGBTQI people to exercise in a safe and welcoming space, and to practice baskeball in line with COVID guidance. People attending this event will be able to join an inclusive group, in Glasgow.
- 18:00 Gears for Queers: LGBTIQ+ Bike Maintenance Class
This maintenance class aims to provide a space where LGBTQI+ people are made to feel welcome in the workshop, and feel confident to learn and ask questions. We recognise that LGBTQI+ people are underrepresented in bike mechanics due to the cis-heteropatriarchy and we aim for these sessions to help empower LGBTQI+ people to learn about bikes and how to fix them, and to teach others.

Want to challenge yourself, escape the city, get more active or find some headspace? Join Mhòr Outdoor for an adventurous day hike in the Pentland Hills. The day will be designed for people 18+ who identify as LGBTIQ+ with limited experience in the outdoors and for those who have never walked or climbed a hill before. Lunch and refreshments will be provided! Travel included.
