    This maintenance class aims to provide a space where LGBTQI+ people are made to feel welcome in the workshop, and feel confident to learn and ask questions. We recognise that LGBTQI+ people are underrepresented in bike mechanics due to the cis-heteropatriarchy and we aim for these sessions to help empower LGBTQI+ people to learn about bikes and how to fix them, and to teach others.

    In the spirit of Rainbow Glasgaroos, the event is offered to increase LGBTQI+‘s participation in sport. We will then experience some relaxing wellbeing practices and mindful movement around a warm fire together. You will also receive a Wellbeing Box which will include lots of nature inspired wellbeing goodies to help you to continue to explore your local green space. *Please note if restrictions change then we will offer an online Zoom workshop and post the nature wellbeing boxes out out to participants.

    This walk is a nice one as the walk along the canal is flat. This should make it fairly accessible for most people to be able to join in. The distance is around 11 miles however we will toilet and pit stop at Lock 21 and McGonnigal’s Chip Shop Boat if people wish. having such a stretch, it gives the participants a chance to talk and to hopefully make friends, combat lowliness and isolation and a chance for those who are not quite ready to return to hardcore fitness, a bit of a challenge to up their fitness game. Transport from Bowling will be up to the individual to arrange themselves. But the Marina there is lovely and there are a couple of cycle trails and a bike hire place if people wish to explore the area afterwards.

    Come along to Queens Park Recreational Ground to chat, play some relaxed ball games, and have a picnic. Let’s get our communities together and catch up after too long apart! Whether you drop in for 10 minutes or stick around for the whole afternoon you’re sure to be met with friendly faces and have some fun. This event is for transgender and non-binary people of all genders and experiences of gender, and those questioning their gender, aged 18+. All game equipment and picnic food provided. Sign up to give us an indication of numbers and food preference. Please feel free to bring along any young family members, but we will not be able to provide childcare.

    Hillhead hockey club invites you to our second annual summer hockey taster. In conjunction with LEAP Sports Festival Fortnight, Glasgow Raptors RFC is proud to present our FREE ‘Intro to Rugby Bootcamp’. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to attend this event – absolutely zero experience is required, and we encourage beginners to join in! With help from our friendly coaching team, you will have the opportunity to learn the core skills of rugby union in a safe and encouraging environment. Those newly learned skills will then be put to the test with an exciting game of touch rugby. The event will wrap up with a social Pride Picnic, in celebration of LGBT Youth Scotland’s Pride campaign ‘Reconnect – Celebrate – Donate’. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss all things rugby and inclusive sports with our wider membership over some food and beverages (these will be provided by the club and will be conscious of dietary needs). As the city’s only inclusive rugby team, we strive to provide a platform which champions LGBT+ excellence in sports and use our voices to fight for equality. This workshop is designed for LGBTIQ+ people and allies aged 14+ and all abilities are welcome to give you a taste of how fun and energising (and a bit of a workout) circus can be! Learn with a friendly team of instructors who will ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time up in the air, and don’t worry….it’s not too high!

    Join the Perth Parrots at the South Inch Carpark for a complimentary hot drink and breakfast roll before heading up Kinnoull Hill which has stunning views of the River Tay out towards Dundee. Parking is free on a Sunday and public toilets are available (small entry fee). No age or gender restrictions but the climb is steep in parts so not suitable for young children.

    Join Get Back OUT for a fun trip to the high tree rope course at TreeZone! Zip wires, balance beams, hanging platforms, tight-ropes, scramble nets, white knuckle bridges & gap jumps, set on the shores of the awe-inspiring Loch Lomond. Get a squirrel’s-eye view as you swing high in the trees tackling a host of TreeZone challenges. This event is only for LGBTIQ+ people aged 18+ who stay in the Greater Glasgow area.

    Clyde FC Community Foundation would like to deliver an inclusive community football tournament open to LGBTIQ+ people and allies aged 16+ at the home of professional football club Clyde. Participants will get to experience playing in a real football stadium and are invited to try football regardless of ability, background or gender.

    Learn about your queer heritage through roller derby! Come along and meet with skaters from different clubs to find out more about the sport, their involvement in the club and what the sport means for them. After meeting with the players, come and have a go yourself at our very own roller disco! A skating lesson, protective equipment and skate hire are all included.

With the summer fast approaching and the weather looking optimistically better… it’s time to try some Kayaking in Loch Ore, before travelling to one of the lochs islands for some lunch and team-building activities. Our activities day is open to all young people in Kirkcaldy (and Central Fife) aged between 12-18.

    Want to challenge yourself, escape the city, get more active or find some headspace? Join Mhor Outdoor for an adventurous day hike in the Kilpatrick Hills. The day will be designed for people 18+ who identify as LGBTIQ+ with limited experience in the outdoors and for those who have never walked or climbed a hill before. Lunch and refreshments will be provided! Travel included.

    A skilled and wonderful lady once told her son about secret areas of green. these pockets of green space, little dockets of nature were hidden all over the city, sometimes in plain sight, and for many, we would walk right past it. This walk aims to help you show these little hidden gems, these beautiful bits that Bab’s held so dear and important so that everyone can enjoy them whenever you are in the city. Open to all.

    Come check out Aberdeen’s inclusive men’s rugby club! The event is offered to increase LGBTQI+‘s participation in sport in one of Scotland’s five inclusive rugby teams. It is for LGBTQI people to exercise in a safe and welcoming space, and to practice rugby in line with COVID guidance. If you love it, join our team full time! This is open to GBTQ+ men and non-binary people aged 18+.
