Out for Sport in Fife

To celebrate Festival Fortnight in 2022, Kirkcaldy High School are working in partnership with Fife Active Schools, neighbouring secondary schools & local LGBT+ Youth Groups to offer LGBTQI+ young people & allies the opportunity to take part in informal sports taster sessions (i.e. Basketball, Boxing, Trampolining & Yoga) and a swimming session at the Michael Woods Sports Centre in Glenrothes on Friday 24th June.

This session aims to provide a safe space for LGBTQI+ young people to take part in sport and physical activity. We hope to empower our participants to take part in the above mentioned activities, connecting with others and trying something new.

Open to LGBTIQ+ young people and allies from S1-S6 attending local secondary schools &/or community provisions in Kirkcaldy or Glenrothes (*also welcoming family/friends/allies from neighbouring community LGBTQI+ groups). There are 24 spaces available.
