Voguing Taster with House Ball Scotland

Get Back OUT Glasgow is teaming up with House Ball Scotland during Festival Fortnight to deliver a ballroom herstory & voguing taster session!

Vogue is a Black trans and queer performance art form which forms an element of the underground ballroom scene, an underground culture initiated by Black trans women in Harlem, New York around the late 1960s.

This session will cover an introduction to the herstory to present day of ballroom culture and then a 1h practical workshop. No previous experience is required as this is a beginner’s session. Open to all LGBTIQ+ people aged 18+.
