Roller Derby Training Sessions

Dundee International Sports Centre, DD4 7AA

Dundee roller derby trains for two hours, twice a week.

Our sessions are a range of levels from learning the complete basics of roller derby and skating with our New Skater Programme, to progressing your skills, strengths and fitness during our advanced sessions. We have an open door policy to any and all skaters and officials that are looking to focus their skills, whether that is breaking down the intricate rule system or focusing on skating skills, our coaches adapt their sessions to suit the needs of attendees week by week.

We foster an inclusive and safe environment for learning and we encourage individuals to take skills at their own pace. There are avenues into coaching if league members are interested and we run a buddy system to shadow our experienced coaches to gain the experience before taking a session individually.

We promote peer to peer training and self assessments as a way to set and meet our individual goals.

We host open scrims when we are able, to invite the roller derby community of Scotland to come and practice with us. A great way to build connections further afield and learn from other leagues across the country. Open to all aged 18+.
